Review Policy

If you are an author, publisher, or company and would like to send me a book or product for review, here is what you need to know:

• I always write honest and respectful reviews of all of the books I read, and this includes books I've been sent for review. Not only is it the law, but it is my own personal philosophy that I remain genuine as a blogger and reviewer. 
• I do my best to read any review copies within one to two months of receiving them. If you need me to read the book you send in a certain period of time, please tell me in advance.
• I prefer to own a tangible copy of the book, but I will review ebooks.
• My star rating system on Goodreads reflects my own, personal experience of the book. I use half-stars, and always state in the first line of the Goodreads review box if I am giving the book a half-star. I also round down on half-stars. For example, if I rate a book 4.5 stars, I will make it 4 stars. I will also deduct 0.5-1 star if there are a plethora of grammar and typographical errors. 
• I like to read a variety of genres from both young adult and adult reading levels. My favorite genres are: dystopian, contemporary, and fantasy.
• I cross-post my reviews on Goodreads and Amazon.

At this time I am no longer working with indie authors.
